We see challenge and support as a balancing act. Only when you have a healthy balance will you be stimulated, develop, succeed and enjoy your work. Too much of one and not enough of the other and you’re either stressed or bored. Therefore, we ensure you receive both at Straterjee. Support is provided from seven key areas:

  1. Peer group - your colleagues in similar roles, the colleagues you joined with, the colleagues you share an office with, your team mates and former team mates all provide an informal support network. We actively encourage people to maintain and develop their networks, our Friday office day and training events are excellent opportunities to catch up with colleagues. Everyone is encouraged to make the time to support as well as be supported. We regularly hold informal events to help broaden and maintain your network

  2. Development group - you will have an appointed mentor who is responsible with helping you find the right opportunities. You will share your mentor with your development group, a mix of colleagues from different backgrounds and roles who provide another support network

  3. Feedback - we have an open and honest culture, which is based around giving each other regular constructive feedback. At first it can be confronting when you are not used to it, but everyone comes to rely on it

  4. Development framework - we invest a tremendous amount in training, on-line learning, study tours and thought leadership to help our consultants continue to develop. We are committed to ensuring everyone has access to the very best tools and opportunities to develop

  5. Knowledge network - as part of Australia’s largest communications group we have a wide network of skills we can call upon. Internal to Straterjee, within and outside the STW Group there is a wealth of the very latest information to access

  6. Tools of the trade - we invest in giving our colleagues the very best tools to do the job, we want you to focus on client problems not your own!

  7. Support team - we have a fantastic support team, who help ensure everything is taken care of so you can focus on the client issues
